Pedro Mello BJJ Seminar
Please join us for a seminar with Pedro Mello while he is out here to compete in IBJJF Masters Worlds. Pedro leads Atos Jiu Jitsu in Brazil and is also an accomplished competitor with wins at Pan Ams, Brazilian National championships, and Grand Prix to name a few.

6 week Women's intro to BJJ
Six week introduction to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, open to women ages 14+ The class will meet Monday and Wednesday at 9am at our Atascadero location. 8665 El Camino Real, inside Valley Fitness. The start date is May 1st and the class will be about an hour long. You don't need a gi(uniform) and can just wear comfortable workout clothes such as leggings/pants and a top with a high cut neckline.
The goal of the class is to get familiar with the basics of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and basic self defense. Additionally this will be a great way to get comfortable in a smaller group setting before transitioning into our regular ongoing classes. The class will be led by female instructors.

Free Women's Self Defense Workshop Oct 2, 11am-12:30pm
Join Paragon Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for a self-defense workshop on Sunday, Oct 2, from 11:00am - 12:30 pm at the Paragon location in Arroyo Grande!

Basic groundwork
For individuals not comfortable physically interacting with community members they don't know, we strongly recommended bringing a partner you feel comfortable with! Participants should wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring water. Something with sleeves is preferred since we will be on the mat during portions of the class.
The event is free, but we will be accepting donations for Lumina Alliance! Lumina Alliance is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization created by the merging of RISE and Stand Strong in July 2021. Their mission is to empower those impacted by sexual and intimate partner violence through innovative advocacy, healing, and prevention programs. Services include 24/7 crisis and information line, case management, restraining order assistance, legal assistance, accompaniment and advocacy, emergency shelters, transitional housing, individual and group therapy, and robust prevention education. Paso Robles Kids Summer Camp July
Paragon Paso Robles will be holding a summer camp this year!
Dates: July 18-22nd
Where: Paragon Paso Robles
Times: 8am-12pm
The camp will be for ages 7-14 and run from 8 a.m. to noon each day. We will hold sessions with Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, Wrestling, Self Defense, and fitness. There will be scheduled breaks and recreation with fun games.
The cost of the camp is $275 for current members and $300 for non-members. There will be a non-refundable $50 deposit upon registration to save your child's spot. This $50 will be applied to your total amount due.

We anticipate that the camp will fill up quickly, so please don't wait too long to reserve. Also, when you reserve your spot please let us know your child's t-shirt size as they will be getting a Paragon t-shirt with their registration.
A minimum of 10 campers must sign up for camp in order for it to be held. Please help us spread the word about this camp to any other families you think may be interested.
The camp will be no-gi, so children should wear comfortable athletic attire. Campers, please bring at least a quart of water and a nutritious snack. We will have a pizza party on the last day of camp, Friday July 22.
