Paragon Brazilian Jiu Jitsu San Luis Obispo is part of the Paragon Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Santa Barbara family. Paragon BJJ is well respected within the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu world. Paragon has produced many champions, and world champions. Paragon is based upon the techniques developed and perfected from the great Helio Gracie, of the great Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu family, founders of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It’s techniques are based on timing, leverage and position. No matter the size of your opponent, these 3 elements together, will help you become successful  in “submitting” your opponent with a lock, hold or choke!

Through our training you will also develop self respect, respect of others and self esteem. A high level physical fitness can also be achieved through our training. All the techniques you learn are applicable to self defense.

We have over 2,000 square feet of training facility. Both “gi” and “no-gi” classes are taught. We offer adult beginner, intermediate and advanced class and kid’s class.
